Atelier Rouge’s collaboration with Clara Blanc began when she, a French living in Japan, thought about the 19th century Japonisme paintings. Clara chose Japanese pottery as the material to represent fragile time. The collection invites you to travel back in time to the Paris Universal Exposition in 1867.
At the Paris World Exposition of 1867, Japanese ukiyo-e, pottery, and other crafts were introduced, inspiring European artists of the time.
